{Top Ten} France

Now, before you thought I’d forgotten, I have a little more to say when it comes to me + wanderlust + France.  My Top Ten lists for my Wanderlust series are meant to be a fun way to explore a certain aspect of a particular destination a little further.  When I was researching this post, I found so many amazing French-inspired pieces of art, I’m going to spend this Top Ten sharing some more of my finds…

  1. La Vie en Rose letterpress print by Sycamore Street Press … I adore letterpress… I would marry it if it was legal.
  2. Voyageur by Blanca Gomez …
  3. … And another (Paris) by Blanca Gomez, because I couldn’t choose…
  4. Les petites douceurs (Little Sweet Treats) by Eva Juliet, has me drooling…
  5. I love illustrated maps… (a quick side note: if you do too, you MUST check out this site)… this one is beautiful and I would love to have it on my wall.  (by Marisa Seguin)
  6. Bonjour made me smile… by theloveshop
  7. Part of the Paris Colour Project by Little Brown Pen, I love this collection of yellow fine art photographs.
  8. Another artist I love, Sarah Jane, has started a collection called Children around the World… I would love the entire set… but since I must stay on topic… this is Paris:
  9. For me, France + Food = Perfection.  Another reason to love this adorable illustrated Madeline recipe by Lucile.
  10. Finally, to round off the top ten… a striking photograph of the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, by Rebecca Plotnick.
If it was up to me I would have a copy of each of these framed and on my wall at home in a little homage to la bele France.  What do you think?  Do you have a favourite?  Do you like the idea of bringing a little international flavour into your home like this?  I’d love for you to share your thoughts in the comments section below.
