{celebrate} birthday fairies

The birthday fairies visited our house again on the eve of Ava’s birthday.  They left some fairy dust… but they also left Ava some mail under her pillow.

Pretty amazing, right?!   Lea Redmond of Leafcutter Designs offers a magical service of writing and sending tiny letters, cards and packages to lucky recipients all over the world.

I thought that a little birthday letter from the birthday fairies, might add an extra special magical touch to our birthday traditions…

I had more fun than I should admit to, coming up with fairy names to use in the future…

Millicent Marigold

Dorothea Dandelion

Penelope Petunia

Caroline Calendula

Ramona Ranuncula

What do you think?  Pretty gorgeous, right?!  I’d love to hear some more ideas for birthday fairy names, if you think of any…

Thanks Lindsey! Isn’t it such an original idea?! It reminds me of when I was about 15 and a girlfriend and I used to pass notes in class writing as small as we possibly could just in case our teacher intercepted the letters! Lea has definitely made it an artform though! She has some more amazing projects on the go all detailed on her website: http://www.leafcutterdesigns.com/

Thanks so much Leslie, that means so much.

I love your fairy names – especially Daphne Daisy – two flowers in one name!
