Just stopping by to say…

Ava-4th-birthday-invites-rounded

Hello Lovely Adventurer,

I wanted to stop by and say , that I am feeling terrible for my lack of posts during the last couple of weeks, but I’ve been in creative overload as it is my biggest gal’s 4th birthday on Sunday… and I am madly trying to put the finishing touches on what feels like a hundred little projects.

I have so many things to share with you, after spending the past couple of weeks sewing, painting, glueing and cutting… while also juggling a sick Lola (yes, again!!), Rugby World Cup Fever… and, you know, life in general.

I promise things will return to normal next week, and until then I thought I’d give you a little sneaky peak  as to what I’ve been up to.

Oh, and also one other thing that I can’t wait to share with you… I just signed up for this… after reading about it on Megan’s blog.

Kiwi Christmas Ornament Swap 2011

Christmas is my absolute hands-down favourite time of year, and I am really looking forward to creating some special ornaments to send out – and then the best bit is I get half a dozen ornaments in return!!  You can head over to the Sew Funky blog to check out all the details.  If you’re interested, sign-ups are open until November 1st.
Wishing you a week full of lovely adventures.

Thanks so much! I am completely obsessed with bunting – and have been wanting to make paper bunting for the longest time – so have crossed that off my list!

Can’t wait for the Christmas ornament swap – I’ve been brain-storming ornament designs ever since I signed up!! H xo

Oh thank you Victoria! We had a lovely day on Sunday – picnicking at the zoo is one of our favourite activities as a family, but even better when we have a birthday to celebrate too! I’m sorting through the photos now, so hopefully will have some to share very soon. H xo
