Hello Friend,
In the middle of sick kids, a beginner’s patchwork class my Mama and I are in the thick of, and trying to stay on top of my horrendous (I don’t use that word lightly!) laundry pile… I came across this and had to share…
There are so many things I wish I’d known before becoming a Mama… trusting my own abilities and my powerful love for my children would be at the top of my list. No one could have told me this though, I really had to learn it for myself (unfortunately!)
What do you wish you’d known?

What a great question. I wish I could have known – that patience is so important and the laundry is not! (I, too, have a giant pile of clothes that the kids are playing with…) To not rush through each day and savor each moment with the kids. I appreciate my third child so much and wish I was this laid back with my first two! :)

A great find – great words of wisdom darling daughter. The wonderful thing is that even though you may not realize it until you have your own children, wisdom does come – as it has to you. It’s always there; children just have a way of bringing it to the surface. And some of those feelings don’t change – no matter how old your “baby” is. Love you always.

Love this video – I saw it when my baby boy was only a few weeks old and was so emotional at the time that I cried! Still great to watch it again though :-)
