{little moments} Holiday Scrapbook

Source: Martha Stewart

Hello Friend!

I wanted to write about another little moment that I am really in love with!!  Something I didn’t manage on our Coromandel Holiday, but hope I’ll be able to get organised enough for our next holiday!

The idea is to put together a holiday scrapbook.  Working together as a family collating all those photos, brochures, and additional memorabilia.  Writing and sharing memories together – a wonderful way to relive the fun of a holiday.

And, not just for the time spent putting the scrapbook together.  When Barry was little his family took an extended trip through Australia, Europe and the US.  He and his brother and sister had to keep scrapbooks of their trip – and we still enjoy looking through those scrapbooks today – so it really is a little tradition that is a great way of keeping memories.

Do you have any special way of memory keeping for family holidays?  Please do share in the comments section below!!

I used to keep scrapbooks of our travels and even when the girl was a baby – but it’s gone by the wayside. I did a HUGE clean up of my home office and found two empty scrapbooks waiting to be filled plus photos. Must do it!

Yes Sandra! I know just what you mean though – add some kids into the mix and you get nothing done! Do you want to know my guilty secret? Although I have taken thousands (yes, literally!) of photos, I have not had any photos printed since Belle was born. That’s right, I don’t have a single physical photo of my latest bubba – something I really need to get on to!
