Playful Learning and Butter!

Hello Friend,

I am super-dooper excited to share that I’m going to be a regular contributor to the Playful Learning Blog!!  I don’t know how I’ve managed to keep that quiet for as long as I have – I’ve been busting to tell you for several weeks now!!!

Mariah (the founder of Playful Learning) has recently expanded her team and there are all sorts of amazing contributors who I am honoured to be included amongst.

Also super-exciting is the format in which I’m contributing… video!  I’ve long wanted to try making video and this new role gave me the perfect motivation.  You could say it was a team effort, as Ava, Lola and Belle are definitely the stars of the show!!!

My first post went live last Thursday.  Here’s a little peek at the video we made… (I think if you’re reading this via email there’s a chance it won’t display so you may have to come on to the website to view it??)

I’ll be sure to let you know whenever I post on Playful Learning, but if you’re not familiar with Mariah’s lovely blog, I encourage you to go and have a look.  It really is full of wonderful, inspirational and practical ideas for engaging and playing with your little ones.

I’m still sifting through the photos, but hope to share some pics of Lola’s birthday tomorrow.  Until then…

Hi Hana, I was just catching up posts over at Playful Learning and couldn’t believe it when I was reading the “making butter” post – reading your girls’ names I knew it had to be you! Well done, love Mariah’s book, just finished reading it recently. Just wanted to pop in and say hi – and I’m looking forward to reading more of your blog soon. Hope you’re enjoying the holidays : ) Lesley (Adam’s mum at kindy).

Hi Lesley! How funny that you found me through Mariah’s blog! Cliched, I know, but what a small world it is really, huh!?

Thanks so much for stopping by and saying hi! We are definitely enjoying the holidays – although I can’t believe we’re halfway through the first week already!! I hope you guys are having a nice holiday too – will look forward to catching up when the term starts again.
