Little World France – an introduction

redirect-to-mmk-ebookHello Friend,

I’ve had an ongoing love affair with France for years… bordering on an obsession, actually… and I’m afraid I’ve passed it on to my girls.  On at least a weekly basis we discuss the things we will do when we visit France – go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, find Mona Lisa in the cavernous Louvre and picnic near the lavender fields in Provence (among other things!)

So, what better way to kick off our Little World Adventures than with France as our first country to explore?!

For the next five weeks I’ll be posting every Thursday with an activity or information sheet following the schedule above.

I’ve also created the first set of passport pages to go inside your passport cover.  As we go through each week of our French Adventure, your little ones will be able to complete a corresponding page in their passport.  (A side note: I didn’t really think of how to collate all the pages in the passport when I created it … for now I’ve just tied bakers string around the middle – which does work… but if you could get your hands on one of those really long staplers then that would be super-awesome!!  Also, I’m afraid that the pages are just like the cover and there’ll be a bit of cutting and pasting to fit everything together, unless of course you have a double-sided printer… sigh.)

You can download the pages here:

Anyway, can I just say I am totally delighted to have these passport pages to share with you.  This Little World series has been in my brain for about a year, and I have just been procrastinating crazily about it… it’s so awesome to get it all out of my head and onto paper (well, virtual paper!) and I hope you enjoy the series as much as I have enjoyed creating it!

PS… can’t wait for next week!!!

Have I mentioned lately how proud I am of you? And how that stems from a deep intense love of my “little girl” – you! Those 3 littlies can’t do anything except catch your passion and enthusiasm for things. It’s wonderful to see. I wish you were little again and I could do the pages with you – illogical I know (hahaha) but you know what I mean!! Love you darling.
