Little World France – French Spoon Characters

If we were to play the word association game, and you said “France”, I would say “Food”

And if we followed that particular train of thought to it’s logical conclusion perhaps we would decide that the perfect craft to symbolise France would be a collection of French Wooden Spoon Characters (of course, you say)!?

Well, I’m glad you agreed!  I’ve been a bit obsessed wit the idea of Wooden Spoon Characters since reading Todd Oldham’s Kid Made Modern
a couple of years ago and coming across his spoon friends craft inspired by Alexander Girard.  And so here is a little tutorial for a French-inspired version…

I hope you have loads of fun making these with your little ones… and I’d just love to see the results, so if you take photos, please send them my way: hana {at} ahappyadventure {dot} com
