May Magical Days Calendar {Printable}

May 2013 Printable Calendar | A Happy Adventure

Hello Friend!

Today, I’m so excited to share with you a little printable that I’ve had in the back of my mind for a long time: a monthly calendar with a bunch of great excuses to celebrate our ordinary days… some of the celebrations you’ll probably be familiar with, for example Mother’s Day and Cinco de Mayo and other days are a little more quirky (Lost Sock Memorial Day and Lucky Penny Day)!!

Most days can be easily celebrated – throw on a jazz CD and dance around your lounge after dinner on the 22nd; on the 30th, surprise your littles with an ice-cream sundae… and you might just find one or two days throughout the month that you think are quite fascinating and you may want to really embrace them – I feel as though Hawaiian Lei Day and Cinco de Mayo may be right up there for us!!

I can’t back up all my internet research  but hopefully this calendar will be a great prompt for all of us to remember with a little thought, we can make every day magical.  You can download a pdf of the calendar here:  May 2013 Magical Days Calendar

Anyway, I really hope you enjoy the calendar … and it brings a little whimsy to your life … please let me know if you decide to adopt any of the ‘holidays’ (I use that term in the loosest possible sense!) … and I hope to update you with how we will celebrating as the month goes on.

    Love it, Hana. I’m disappointed we missed Hawaiian Lei Day! Might have to take a trip for international food night. Good excuse to discuss the difference between countries and states all over the world. Oh, and for next year, Star Wars day is officially on may the fourth (be with you) ; ) I’ve promised the boys I’ll wear my hair like Princess Leia’s tomorrow! S x

      Thanks Sarah! If you do visit Hawaii for your International Food Night – you’ll have to email me some photos (if you don’t post them!) and will definitely add Star Wars day next year – thanks for letting me know xoxo>
